The JAGAAS Lifetime Award 2025 was the inaugural event by the Japanese Graduates’ Alumni Association of Sri Lanka (JaGAAS), held on March 21, 2025, recognizing prominent Sri Lankan alumni of Japanese institutions for their contributions to Sri Lanka’s development in areas like education, business, and tech, with key recipients including Prof. Piyadasa Ratnayake. The event, co-organized with the Embassy of Japan, honored 17 individuals in total, strengthening Japan-Sri Lanka ties.
